A Female Engages In Abusive And Hazardous Drinking And Gets Outstanding Help At An Alcohol Rehab Clinic For Alcohol Withdrawals And Symptoms Of Alcoholism

Beth was the mother of three children. Beth had been feeling quite stressed out lately and began to "medicate" herself by having two or three screwdrivers every night after she put her children to bed. After around three weeks of this drinking routine, she eventually understood the fact that rather than helping her "lighten up" and "manage" her problems, drinking made her feel less restful when she awakened. This, in turn, made her feel even more stressed throughout the .

After thinking deeply about her circumstance for a week or two, Beth decided to "open up" about her drinking problem with her best friend. In fact, roughly five minutes into their discussion, Beth's best friend Joslyn, told her that she knew about a very helpful and supportive doctor at the local alcohol and drug treatment center. After talking to her friend, Beth immediately got encouraged to call the rehabilitation facility and schedule an appointment.

Eight days later she finally got to meet the doctor her friend had talked about. After their brief introduction, Beth explained to the doctor that ever since her ex-husband and she divorced one another, she has been having an extremely difficult time financially, emotionally, and spiritually.

As Beth was talking to the doctor, she emphasized the point that she really believed that she and Robert waited long enough to know one another good enough before they got married. After the kids started to arrive, on the other hand, everything seemed to fall apart. Moreover, both she and Robert began to drink, and their abusive and irresponsible drinking negatively impacted their finances, their relationship, and their love for one another.

The doctor explained to Beth that the alcohol poisoning symptoms she has been experiencing are due to her irresponsible drinking. The doctor also told Beth that her alcohol withdrawal symptoms are some of the usual symptoms of alcoholism and that the best solution for this state of affairs is alcohol rehabilitation.

After spending five months in residential alcohol rehab, Beth was slowly but surely able to see that the real origin of her stress and her depression was that she had not gotten to the bottom of her acrimonious feelings she has expressed for her ex-husband who had divorced her. In a word, Beth let these feelings upset her to such an extent that she became an alcoholic.

With these insights and with the drugs her physician prescribed, she finally quit drinking, she began to feel substantially less depressed, and she started making time for social events with her friends and family. Not only this but a few months after getting therapy from her doctor, she even started to date once again.

It was clear that Beth had come a long way. In fact, just about four months after she terminated her counseling, Beth had finally laid the ghost of her former husband to rest and was beginning to feel better about herself and more spiritually "sound" and emotionally "with it" than she had ever felt in her adult life.
